CAMERON ADAMS, CANVA

TOPIC: Did you drop something?  How to go from start-up to scale up and beyond, and take your your culture with you

Ex-Google executive Cameron Adams is a co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Canva, the online design platform with over 15 million users (and one of the most exciting startups in Australia.  Unicorn anyone?).

He leads the design and product teams there as well as focusing on future product directions and innovative experiences.

Canva has an incredible culture, built on the values of Be a Force for Good, Empower Others, Pursue Excellence, Be a Good Human, Make Complex Things Simple and Set Crazy Big Goals.

Cameron will share with us how they have built Canva around their culture, from start-up to the company with a $1b valuation that it is today, and will lead the discussion about how we can grow our businesses without leaving our cultures behind.

TRISTAN WHITE, PHYSIO CO

TOPIC:  Ten years at the top.  Sustaining a high performing culture over the long term

Tristan White is Founder & CEO of The Physio Co, a unique healthcare business, that for ten (yep 10!) consecutive years has been ranked as one of Australia’s 50 Best Places to Work.  GPTW awarded him a Laureate Award in 2018 in recognition of his commitment.

As well as running his extremely successful business, Tristan is also the author of the book “Culture Is Everything”.

Tristan’s obsession with creating an inspiring place to work for himself and others has resulted in more than a decade of learning, testing, and refining. Tristan will lead the conversation about sustaining a strong performing culture over the long term, and he will share insights into The Culture Is Everything system he developed with The Physio Co team.

HEIDI DENING, WORKABLE WELLNESS

TOPIC: Staying still is for dead people.  Working with wellness in the workplace.

Heidi Dening is a sought-after keynote speaker, award-winning workplace wellness consultant and business owner, author and passionate educator who believes that resilient, healthy self-leaders create profitable, impactful businesses.

The CEO of Workable Wellness and author of “Her Middle Name is Courage”, Heidi has over 20 years’ experience in business, education and health and is the only Australian to be selected as a Global Advisor for the International WELL Building Institute™ Mind Advisory Board that looks at how our built environments impact our mental health, and the influence this has on our ability to perform at our best at work.

Heidi will make sure we don’t get too comfortable in our seats during the Immersion, as well as share actionable strategies we can take back to our workplaces, all backed up with a healthy dollop of science.

JEREMY DEAN, riders&elephants

TOPIC: It’s not just what you do; it’s how you make them feel.  The Emotional Culture Deck Taster Workshop

The Emotional Culture Deck was designed to fulfil a simple, but critical, shortcoming in many organisations.

Most organisations and leaders don’t pay enough attention to how employees are or should be feeling. They underestimate how central emotions are to building the right culture and employee experience.

So riders&elephants designed and developed the deck over two years with dozens of organisations around the word to solve this problem.

We will get to play with the deck in this shortened version of the Emotional Culture Deck Masterclass that Jeremy is currently delivering around the world, and understand who we can use it with our teams to guide our check-ins, design our employee engagement, and achieve even better results.

IMMERSE IN AN ENRICHING ENVIRONMENT

Take your experience to another level

As well as sharing the table with some of the biggest names in business today, you’ll get to co-create the conversation in inspiring surroundings. Marrying historical sensitivity with contemporary design, Enero’s 3,500 sqm fit-out has delivered a dynamic space of raw and elegant sophistication.

Co-locating Enero’s businesses has transformed the space into a thriving powerhouse of collaboration and creativity. Key to the space’s success was balancing the needs of each individual business. The result is an office broken into bite-sized neighbourhoods with bump spaces sprawled throughout to encourage connectivity.

And you get to experience it, first hand.

THANK YOU

You and our Official Supporters make this possible
