Who needs a Psychosocial Hazards Plan?
You do.
The Work Health & Safety Regulations* explicitly require employers** to manage psychosocial hazards, not just physical ones. That means:
- Identifying reasonably foreseeable psychosocial hazards
- Eliminating or minimising risks
- Maintaining and reviewing control measures to ensure their effectiveness.
The Regulations apply to all businesses, regardless of size or whether they have direct employees or contractors**. Only the measures will vary according to the business’s nature, resources, and risks.
